Remote Learning Assistance Program

Due to low enrollment we will not be running on Monday January 25th, Tuesday January 26th, or Thursday January 28th, or Monday February 1st. 

Thompson Recreation is offering a Remote Learning Assistance Program to Thompson Elementary School students (grades K - 4) during the change to remote learning. Group size is limited to eight students. Students who received a call from the Department of Health or school nurse and are required to quarantine due to contact with a COVID positive case are not able to participate. 

The program will be held at the Thompson School - in the AM/PM Care room from 7:00am - 3:00pm. School lunch will be provided or students may bring their own. Students must bring their own electronic device to complete school assignments and headphones. 

Recreation staff will assist students with logging in and staying on track with work. They will not provide educational support or tutoring. 

Registration is daily. The cost is $35/day. Full payment is due at the time of registration. Payments can be made by credit card, cash, or check.  Payments are not accepted at the program site and must be made online or at the Recreation Office for receipt purposes.

1. Group size limited to eight students
2. Desks will be spaced out with minimum 6 ft distance
3. Masks are required for staff and students
4. Increase hand washing and cleaning protocols
