A special camp program for kids entering grades K-4 and 5-8 in Fall 2023.

A week of hiking, exploring trails, and the natural beauty of the Last Green Valley!  Unique activities featuring local history, ecology, arts & culture and more!  

Tentative weekly itinerary is as follows:
Monday: West Thompson Dam, Thompson (Basics of orienteering, disc golf)
Tuesday: Roseland Cottage, Woodstock Orchards, Woodstock 
Wednesday: James Goodwin State Park, Hampton
Thursday: Owen Bell Park, Old Furnace State Park, Killingly
Friday: Wolf Den @ Mashamoquet State Park, Pomfret

Campers will be dropped off and pick up at the Thompson Town Hall.  Transportation is provided by Thompson Recreation. The ratio for this off site program is 1 staff:8 campers. Staff are trained in CPR and First Aid. 

This program was made possible in part thanks to a grant from the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut and in partnership with The Last Green Valley and TEEG. Scholarships are available through TEEG please contact Jill Bourbeau at JillB@teegonline.org or 860-923-3458.


A $50 non refundable deposit is due at the time of registration. The remaining balance is due July 1st.
