Thompson's America 250 Fundraising Campaign • Register • View Cart •


On July 4, 2026, our nation will commemorate and celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.

In order to properly celebrate Thompson's place in the 250 year history of our country, we are embarking on a year-long fund raising campaign.  Our goal is to celebrate our town's history with a wide variety of special events in the year leading up to America's 250th Independence Day.

Many exciting events have already been planned!

October 10-12, 2025: Revolutionary War Reenactment

November 21, 2025: Harlem Wizards vs. TMHS 1987 State Championship Team

 January, 2026: Mystery Dinner Theatre

February, 2026: Red, White, & Blue Gala

April 18, 2026: Red Coat Retreat Run (Marathon)

May 2, 2026: Community Concert

July 3-5, 2026: “A weekend in Scenic Northeast”
July 3 - Fireworks, Concert
July 4 - Independence Day Parade
