For the 2020 season the garden was planted and maintained by volunteers with the produce going to the TEEG food pantry. For 2025, Thompson residents can register for a plot of their own. With grant money from the Last Green Valley and Eastern Connecticut Association for Realtors and funds from the Economic Development Commission, the site was prepared by John Lenky and the beds made by students from Tourtellotte Memorial High School. For the 2020 season the garden was planted and maintained by volunteers with the produce going to the TEEG food pantry. For 2025, Thompson residents can register for a plot of their own.
